Oriental Ribs

  • 1-1/2 cups dry sherry wine
  • 1/4 cup peanut oil or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 6 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tbs hoisin sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 lbs ribs or your choice
  • 6 tbs Aloha From Oregon Plum Ginger Thai Pepper Jelly


  • In a medium saucepan, mix all ingredients besides ribs. Heat over medium-low, stirring constantly until mixed well. Cool. Place ribs in 13×9 inch baking pan. Pour marinade over ribs. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, turning ribs once. Start BBQ for medium heat; put ribs on BBQ until cooked through, about 20-30 minutes per side, turning once, basting with marinade.
