Recipe Instructions
In a bowl, cream the butter,
molasses, sugar and eggs. Beat well. In a separate bowl,
combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
Add to butter mixture and stir. Stir in Aloha From
Oregon Crystallized Ginger, setting aside about 1/4 cup.
Refrigerate the dough for several hours or overnight. Preheat oven to
350°. Roll dough into small balls and roll in granulated
sugar. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheets. Put a few
pieces of Aloha From Oregon Crystallized Ginger on each
cookie. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until firm and light
brown.
